Section 23-16-216 - Civil penalty

On motion of the attorney general or the district attorney, the court may impose a civil penalty of not more than twenty-five thousand dollars for a violation of this part 2. Moneys collected under this section shall be transmitted to the state treasurer and credited to the general fund.L. 2008: Entire part added, p. 1014, § 1, effective July 1.
