Section 24-1-103 - Head of department defined

When the term 'head of a principal department' is used in this article, it means the head of one of the principal departments created by this article. Unless the head of a principal department is a state elected official, he shall have the title of executive director of the department or such other title as specifically designated by this article.L. 68: p. 73, § 3.
