(1) The district attorney and the district attorney's legal and administrative staff shall assist the board in the performance of its duties pursuant to this part 1.(2)(a) The district attorney for the eighteenth judicial district and the district attorney's legal and administrative staff shall assist the crime victim compensation board for the twenty-third judicial district in the establishment of procedures for performance of its duties pursuant to this part 1 until the district attorney for the twenty-third judicial district assumes office.(b) This subsection (2) is repealed, effective July 1, 2025.Amended by 2024 Ch. 177,§ 3, eff. 5/15/2024, app. to approvals for compensation pursuant to the 'Colorado Crime Victim Compensation Act' on or after 5/15/2024.Amended by 2024 Ch. 43,§ 2, eff. 4/4/2024.L. 81: Entire article added, p. 1137, § 5, effective July 1.
