No payment or assistance provided for in this article shall be required to be made by a state agency or political subdivision of the state if the displaced person receives a payment required by the laws of eminent domain which is determined by the state agency or political subdivision of the state to have substantially the same purpose and effect as such payment under this article.L. 71: p. 680, § 1.
