Section 24-60-102 - Attorney general commissioner for Colorado

The governor of the state of Colorado shall appoint the attorney general of the state of Colorado as the commissioner who shall represent the state of Colorado upon any joint commission representing the state of Colorado and any other state, to be constituted by the state of Colorado and any such other state, and particularly by the state of Colorado and any state adjoining it, for the purpose of negotiating and entering into any agreements or compacts, with the consent of congress heretofore granted as aforesaid, for cooperative effort and mutual assistance in the prevention of crime and in the enforcement of the respective criminal laws and policies of the state of Colorado and such other state and for the establishment of such agencies, joint or otherwise, as they may mutually deem to be desirable for making effective such agreements or compacts.L. 35: p. 592, § 2.
