§ 24-46-3-502

As used in this part 5, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Department' means the department of labor and employment created in section 24-1-121.(2) 'Department of higher education' means the department of higher education created in section 24-1-114.(3) 'Energy sector' has the same meaning as defined in section 24-46.3-104 (5.5).(4) 'Energy sector career pathway' means the energy sector career pathway created pursuant to section 24-46.3-104 (5.5).(5) 'SPARC program' means the strengthening photovoltaic and renewable careers (SPARC) workforce development program created in section 24-46.3-503.(6) 'SPARC program fund' means the SPARC program fund created in section 24-46.3-505.(7) 'State board for community colleges and occupational education' means the state board for community colleges and occupational education created in section 23-60-104.(8) 'State council' means the state work force development council created in section 24-46.3-101.Added by 2021 Ch. 247, § 2, eff. 6/16/2021.
