Section 24-32-3801 - Definitions

As used in this part 38, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Child care center' has the same meaning set forth in section 26.5-5-303 (3).(2) 'Child care facility' means: (a) A commercial or residential property that is either a new or existing child care center or a new or existing family child care home and that is licensed or is seeking a license; or(b) A neighborhood youth organization as defined in section 26.5-5-303 (17).(3) 'Division' means the division of housing created in section 24-32-704 (1) within the department of local affairs.(4) 'Family child care home' has the same meaning set forth in section 26.5-5-303 (7).(5) 'Fund' means the child care facility development cash fund created in section 24-32-3805 (1)(a).(6) 'Institution of higher education' means a private institution of higher education, as defined in section 23-18-102 (9), or a state institution of higher education, as defined in section 23-18-102 (10), that offers child care or the Auraria higher education center.(7) 'Licensed' has the same meaning as 'license' set forth in section 26.5-5-303 (13).(8) 'Local government' means a county, a municipality, a city and county, a tribal government, or an
