(1) There is hereby created within the department of local affairs a division of housing, referred to in this part 7 as the 'division'. The division shall be headed by the state director of housing appointed by the executive director of the department of local affairs in accordance with section 13 of article XII of the state constitution.(2) The division of housing is a type 1 entity, as defined in section 24-1-105, and exercises its powers and performs its duties and functions specified in this part 7 under the department of local affairs.Amended by 2022 Ch. 469, § 177, eff. 8/10/2022.L. 70: p. 240, § 1.
