The chief shall purchase and procure all necessary books, supplies, equipment, uniforms, badges, and stationery and shall incur such other expenses as may be actually necessary to carry out the provisions of this part 2; and such expenses shall be paid for in the same manner as other expenses authorized by this part 2.L. 83: Entire article added, p. 926, § 1, effective 7/1/1984.
