It is the policy and purpose of this part 8 to provide a means of compensating volunteer civil defense workers who may suffer any injury as defined in section 24-33.5-802 (6) as a result of participation in civil defense service.L. 2012: Entire part RC&RE with relocations, (HB 12-1283), ch. 240, p. 1089, § 10, effective July 1.This section is similar to former § 24-32-2201 as it existed prior to 2012.
