§ 24-33-5-827

(1) The office of emergency management shall create procedures for the administration of this part 8. The procedures shall include: (a) A process for a county sheriff, local government, local emergency planning committee, or state agency to nominate a volunteer organization to be included on the qualified volunteer organization list pursuant to section 24-33.5-823; and(b) A process to verify that a qualified volunteer provided volunteer services during a disaster or an organized training exercise, drill, or class, and a method to allow the volunteer to provide proof of such service to his or her employer pursuant to section 24-33.5-824 (2).Amended by 2016 Ch. 233, § 6, eff. 8/10/2016.L. 2012: Entire part RC&RE with relocations, (HB 12-1283), ch. 240, p. 1099, § 10, effective July 1.
