Section 24-34-705 - Penalty

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this part 7 or who aids in, incites, causes, or brings about in whole or in part the violation of any of such provisions, for each and every violation thereof, commits a class 2 misdemeanor. The penalty provided by this section shall be an alternative to the relief authorized by section 24-34-306(9), and a person who seeks redress under this section shall not be permitted to seek relief from the commission.Amended by 2021 Ch. 462,§424, eff. 3/1/2022.L. 79: Entire part R&RE, p. 939, § 3, effective July 1. Section 803(2) of chapter 462 (SB 21-271), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that the act changing this section applies to offenses committed on or after March 1, 2022.
