Section 24-51-1511 - Limitation on actions by eligible employees

Administrative actions or civil actions brought by employees to dispute the election for participation or failure to elect participation in the association's defined benefit plan, the association's defined contribution plan, or the defined contribution plan established pursuant to part 2 of article 52 of this title, as said article existed prior to its repeal in 2009, shall commence within one hundred eighty days after the election or within one hundred eighty days of the last day on which the employee may make an election to participate in such plan pursuant to this article and article 52 of this title, whichever is earlier, and not thereafter.L. 2006: Entire section added, p. 1190, § 26, effective May 25.
