The provisions of section 24-51-503 which relate to the purchase of service credit forfeited by the refund of member contributions shall not apply to the members who are employees of an employer which has terminated its affiliation with the association. Such service credit forfeited by such termination of affiliation may be purchased pursuant to the provisions of section 24-51-505.L. 88: Entire section added, p. 967, § 1, effective April 28.
