Section 24-70-220 - Penalty for bribe

Any person who offers to pay any money or other valuable thing to induce another not to bid for a contract under this part 2 or as a recompense for not having bid for such contract or for abandoning a bid made commits a class 6 felony and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-401, C.R.S. Any person who accepts any money or other valuable thing for not bidding for a contract under this part 2 or for abandoning a bid made by him or her or who withholds a bid in consideration of a promise for the payment of money or other valuable thing commits a class 6 felony and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-401, C.R.S.L. 37: p. 956, § 23.
