Section 25-4-701 - Definitions

As used in this part 7, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Board' means the state board of health.(2) 'Department' means the department of public health and environment.(3) 'Pet animal facility' means any place or premises used in whole or in part for the keeping of pet animals for the purpose of adoption, breeding, boarding, grooming, handling, selling, sheltering, trading, or transferring such animals.(4) 'Psittacine birds' includes all birds of the order psittaciformes.L. 83: Entire part R&RE, p. 1059, § 1, effective March 1.
