(1) Physicians and health-care providers shall provide medical services under this act that meet or exceed the standard of care for end-of-life medical care.(2) If a health-care provider is unable or unwilling to carry out an eligible individual's request and the individual transfers care to a new health-care provider, the health-care provider shall coordinate transfer of the individual's medical records to a new health-care provider.Initiated 2016: Entire article added, Proposition 106, L. 2017, p. 2811, §1, effective upon proclamation of the Governor, December 16, 2016.
