Section 26-1-306 - Research related to treatment of brain injuries - grants

(1) The board shall determine the percentage of money credited to the trust fund to be spent annually to support research related to the treatment and understanding of brain injuries. The board shall prioritize research related to traumatic brain injuries.(2) The board shall award grants. Persons interested in a grant shall apply to the board in a manner prescribed by the board. The board may consult with educational institutions or other private institutions within Colorado and nationally regarding the merit of an application for a grant.
