(1) The provisions of article 1 of this title and, where not inconsistent with this part 2, the provisions of part 1 of this article shall apply to state supplementation under this part 2.(2) The state department, with the approval of the state board and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the state department, may enter into agreements with the secretary of the United States department of health, education, and welfare to assist in the administration of Title XVI of the social security act and this part 2.L. 75: Entire part added, p. 892, § 12, effective July 28.
