Section 26-21-105 - Appointment of commission director - commission procedures - advisory council - creation

(1) The executive director of the department of human services or the executive director's designee shall appoint a director of the commission. The executive director of the department shall provide comment and input to the commission on the hiring of the director.(2)(a) The commission shall convene its first meeting of each fiscal year no later than October 1.(b) The commission may adopt such policies as are necessary to facilitate orderly conduct of its business.(c) The commission shall meet at least quarterly.
