The general assembly finds, determines, and declares that strict control of controlled substances within this state is necessary for the immediate and future preservation of the public peace, health, and safety and that the licensing, record-keeping, penalty, and other provisions contained in this part 2 are necessary for the achievement of such control.L. 2012: Entire part added with relocations, (SB 12-1311), ch. 281, p. 1595, § 5, effective July 1.This section is similar to former § 12-22-302 as it existed prior to 2012.
