(1) Under such regulations as are prescribed under this code, a person subject to this code who is on state active duty who is accused of any offense against civil authority may be delivered, upon request, to the civil authority for trial.(2) When delivery under this section is made to any civil authority of a person undergoing sentence of a court-martial and the delivery interrupts the execution of the sentence of the court-martial, the offender after having answered to the civil authorities for his or her offense shall, upon the request of competent military authority, be returned to military custody for the completion of his or her sentence.Amended by 2018 Ch. 95,§ 5, eff. 4/2/2018.L. 83: Entire article added, p. 1167, § 1, effective June 10.
