(1) Any warrant officer or enlisted member shall be punished as a court-martial directs if he or she: (a) Strikes or assaults a warrant officer or noncommissioned officer while that officer is in the execution of his or her office; or(b) Willfully disobeys the lawful order of a warrant officer or noncommissioned officer; or(c) Treats with contempt or is disrespectful in language or deportment toward a warrant officer or noncommissioned officer while that officer is in the execution of his or her office.L. 83: Entire article added, p. 1187, § 1, effective June 10.
