Section 29-5-208 - Obligation to negotiate in good faith

The public employer and the exclusive representative, through appropriate officials or their representatives, have the authority and the duty to bargain collectively in good faith. The obligation to bargain in good faith does not compel either party to agree to a proposal or make a concession.
