Section 30-10-113 - Contribution limits for county offices - definitions

(1) The maximum amount of aggregate contributions that a person may make to a candidate committee of a candidate for a county office and that a candidate committee for such candidate may accept from such person and related requirements governing the disclosure of such contributions are specified in section 1-45-103.7 (1.5).(2) For purposes of this section: (a) 'County office' means a county commissioner, county clerk and recorder, sheriff, coroner, treasurer, assessor, or surveyor.(b) 'Person' has the same meaning as specified in section 2 (11) of article XXVIII of the state constitution.Added by 2019 Ch. 97,§ 2, eff. 8/2/2019.L. 2019: Entire section added, (HB 19-1007), ch. 357, p. 357, § 2, effective August 2.Section 4(2) of chapter 97 (HB 19-1007), Session Laws of Colorado 2019, provides that the act adding this section applies to the portion of any election cycle or for the portion of the calendar year remaining after August 2, 2019, and for any election cycle or calendar year commencing after August 2, 2019, whichever is applicable.
