The operations of the recreation district shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the local government budget law. The proposed budget shall be submitted to the board of county commissioners by the district board on or before the same date that is set for other departments of county government. In no event shall the provisions of this section be construed to prevent the creation of a reserve fund as provided in section 30-20-703.L. 47: p. 699, § 4. CSA: C. 136, § 8. CRS 53: § 114-2-4.
