(1) Except as otherwise provided in this part 2, any person violating this part 2 commits a petty offense and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-503.(2) Except as otherwise provided in this part 2, any person that violates this part 2 within three years after a previous violation of this part 2 by that same person commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.(3) A person who unlawfully butchers an animal belonging to another person commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.Amended by 2021 Ch. 462, § 642, eff. 3/1/2022.L. 2009: Entire part added with relocations, (SB 09 -151), ch. 345, p. 345, § 2, effective July 1.
