Section 35-28-120 - Deposit to defray expenses

(1) Prior to the issuance of any marketing order by the commissioner, he may require the applicants therefor to deposit with him such amount as the commissioner may deem necessary to defray the expenses of preparing and making effective such marketing order. Such funds shall be received, deposited, and disbursed by the commissioner in accordance with the provisions as set forth in section 35-28-114.(2) The commissioner may reimburse the applicant in the amount of any such deposit from any funds received by the commissioner pursuant to the provisions of section 35-28-114.L. 39: p. 208, § 15.
