Section 37-23-116 - President to execute deed - repeal

(1) The president of the board of directors of such drainage district, when authorized by resolution of the board of directors, is empowered to execute, acknowledge, and deliver any deeds of conveyance necessary to convey such real property to the purchaser thereof. The deed of conveyance shall be attested by the secretary of such drainage district under its seal, and when so executed such deed of conveyance shall be held to convey the entire title of such drainage district to the purchaser thereof.(2) This section is repealed, effective July 1, 2024.Amended by 2024 Ch. 165,§ 9, eff. 7/1/2024.L. 29: p. 535, § 2.
