(1) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 37-41-104(1), a contracting district shall not be required to submit to the state engineer: (a) Plans for the construction, operation, or maintenance of salinity control laterals; or(b) Information concerning such salinity control laterals.(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 37-41-104(1), a contracting district shall not be required to obtain a decision from the state engineer as to the feasibility of construction, operation, and maintenance of salinity control laterals.L. 88: Entire part added, p. 1230, § 1, effective April 6.
