Colorado Legal Code
Any person who has, by any action or proceeding to enforce or foreclose any mortgage, lien, or charge upon registered land, become the owner in fee of the land or any part thereof shall be entitled to have his title registered, and the registrar of titles shall, upon application therefor, enter a new certificate of title for the land, or that part thereof of which the applicant is the owner, and issue an owner's duplicate in such manner as in the case of a voluntary conveyance of registered land. No such new certificate of title shall be entered, except after the time to redeem from such foreclosure has expired and upon the filing in the office of the registrar of titles an order of the district court of the county directing the entry of such new certificates.L. 03: p. 337, § 61.
