Any redemption rights granted under federal law are separate and distinct from the redemption rights granted under this article 11.5. All liens that are junior to a tax lien pursuant to this article 11.5 are divested by the public auction conducted in accordance with this article 11.5, subject to the redemption rights provided in this article 11.5.
