Section 4-9-808 - Person entitled to file initial financing statement or continuation statement

(a) A person may file an initial financing statement or a continuation statement under this part 8 if:(1) The secured party of record authorizes the filing; and(2) The filing is necessary under this part 8:(A) To continue the effectiveness of a financing statement filed before July 1, 2013; or(B) To perfect or continue the perfection of a security interest.L. 2012: Entire part added, (HB 12-1262), ch. 170, p. 608, § 16, effective 7/1/2013.
