As used in this part 1, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Cooperative electric association' or 'association' includes a nonprofit electric corporation or association but does not include nonprofit generation and transmission electric corporations or associations.(2) 'Joint membership' means a membership in a cooperative electric association in which more than one individual is treated as a single member of the cooperative electric association in accordance with the cooperative electric association's bylaws.
