The towing carrier is responsible for the security and safety of the towed vehicle until the vehicle is released to an authorized or interested person.Added by 2024 Ch. 292,§ 6, eff. 8/7/2024, app. acts committed on or after the applicable effective date.Section 12(2) of chapter 292 (HB 24-1051), Session Laws of Colorado 2024, provides that the act adding this section applies to acts committed on or after August 7, 2024.2024 Ch. 292, was passed without a safety clause.
