Section 44-3-405 - Importer's license

(1)(a) An importer's license shall be issued to persons importing vinous or spirituous liquors into this state for the following purposes only: (I) To import and sell such liquors to wholesale liquor licensees;(II) To solicit orders from retail licensees and fill such orders through wholesale liquor licensees.(b) Such license shall not permit the licensee to maintain stocks of alcohol beverages in this state.(2) Repealed.Amended by 2024 Ch. 205,§ 11, eff. 8/7/2024.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-47-404 and amended by 2018 Ch. 152, § 2, eff. 10/1/2018.L. 2018: Entire article added with relocations, (HB 18-1025), ch. 152, p. 997, § 2, effective October 1.This section is similar to former § 12-47-404 as it existed prior to 2018.2024 Ch. 205, was passed without a safety clause.
