Section 44-30-521 - Executive and closed meetings

(1) The commission may hold executive or closed meetings for any of the following purposes: (a) Considering applications for licensing when discussing background investigations or personal information;(b) Meeting with gaming officials of other jurisdictions, the attorney general, the district attorney for either Teller or Gilpin county, or law enforcement officials in connection with possible criminal violations;(c) Consulting with the executive director, director, employees, or agents of the commission concerning possible criminal violations or any security issues;(d) Deliberations after hearing evidence in an informal consultation or in a contested case.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-47.1-522 and amended by 2018 Ch. 14, § 2, eff. 10/1/2018.L. 2018: Entire article added with relocations, (SB 18-034), ch. 14, p. 192, § 2, effective October 1.This section is similar to former § 12-47.1-522 as it existed prior to 2018.
