Section 44-30-818 - Approval of rules for certain games

(1) Specific rules for blackjack, poker, craps, roulette, and such other games as are approved by the voters of Central, Black Hawk, or Cripple Creek at a local election held in each city to control the conduct of gaming in that jurisdiction shall be approved by the commission and clearly posted within plain view of the games.(2) A licensee shall not offer poker, blackjack, craps, or roulette, or any variation game of poker, blackjack, craps, or roulette, without prior approval of the game by the commission, except as specifically authorized in the commission's rules regarding field trials of new games or technology.(3) No licensee shall employ shills.Amended by 2020 Ballot Amendment 77, passed by voters in 11/3/2020 election, eff. 5/1/2021.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-47.1-818 and amended by 2018 Ch. 14, § 2, eff. 10/1/2018.Amended by 2013 Ch. 397, § 7, eff. 7/1/2013.L. 2018: Entire article added with relocations, (SB 18 -034), ch. 211, p. 211, § 2, effective October 1.
