Section 5-1-103 - Supplementary general principles of law applicable

Unless displaced by the particular provisions of this code, the 'Uniform Commercial Code' and the principles of law and equity, including the law relative to capacity to contract, principal and agent, estoppel, fraud, misrepresentation, duress, coercion, mistake, bankruptcy, or other validating or invalidating cause, supplement the provisions of this code.L. 2000: Entire article R&RE, p. 1179, § 1, effective July 1.This section is similar to former § 5-1-103, as it existed prior to 2000.
