Prior to the lender negotiating or presenting the instrument, the consumer shall have the right to redeem any instrument held by a lender as a result of a deferred deposit loan if the consumer pays the full amount of the instrument to the lender.L. 2000: Entire article added, p. 442, § 1, effective July 1.
