Section 6-25-102 - Public establishment - vendor contract

A contract between a vendor and a public establishment shall be invalid unless the vendor enters into the contract directly with the public establishment's owner, general manager, or a person with authority to enter into a contract as specifically designated in writing by the owner or general manager. The acceptance of delivered items by a public establishment from a vendor that includes an invoice stating the terms of a contract shall not constitute acceptance of the terms and the contract shall be void.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-44-101.5 and amended by 2017 Ch. 240, § 1, eff. 8/9/2017.L. 2017: Entire article added with relocations, (HB 17-1245), ch. 240, p. 986, § 1, effective August 9.This section is similar to former § 12-44-101.5 as it existed prior to 2017.
