Section 7-58-820 - Other considerations of directors

(1) Unless the articles otherwise provide, in considering the best interests of a limited cooperative association, a director of the association in discharging the duties of director, in conjunction with considering the long- and short-term interest of the association and its members, may consider: (a) The interest of employees, customers, and suppliers of the association;(b) The interest of the community in which the association operates; and(c) Other cooperative principles and values that may be applied in the context of the decision.L. 2011: Entire article added, (SB 11 -191), ch. 197, p. 796, § 1, effective 4/2/2012.
