Section 8-70-105 - Banks as instrumentalities of United States

(1) For all purposes of articles 70 to 82 of this title and in conformity with federal laws, national banks doing business in Colorado and state bank members of the federal reserve system shall be deemed and held to be instrumentalities of the United States, as referred to in articles 70 to 82 of this title.(2) Banks doing a commercial banking business in Colorado and maintaining an account with the federal reserve bank or with a member of the federal reserve system, for the purposes of articles 70 to 82 of this title, shall not be deemed to be instrumentalities of the United States.L. 41: p. 287, §§ 1, 2.
