Sections 1-266 to 1-286, inclusive, shall be construed and applied:(1) To facilitate electronic transactions consistent with other applicable law;(2) To be consistent with reasonable practices concerning electronic transactions and with the continued expansion of such practices; and(3) To effectuate their general purpose to make uniform the law with respect to the subject of sections 1-266 to 1-286, inclusive, among states enacting such law.(P.A. 02-68, S. 6.)
