The State Board of Education may, within the provisions of section 4-87, allocate and use any appropriation or special fund to meet the matching requirements of the federal acts making funds available to the state for purposes of elementary, secondary or vocational education.(1959, P.A. 483, S. 1; February, 1965, P.A. 330, S. 17.)History: 1965 act replaced general reference to 'educational purposes' with specific reference to 'elementary, secondary or vocational education' purposes.
