Any board of education under whose authority a course of study of motor vehicle operation is offered may, if such course is offered at hours other than those in the regular school day, charge as a fee for such course an amount not to exceed the per pupil cost of maintaining said course.(1959, P.A. 672, S. 3; P.A. 75-479, S. 22, 25.)History: P.A. 75-479 allowed charge for course which does not exceed per pupil cost rather than 'the difference between the per pupil grant received under the provisions of Sec. 10-24a' (now repealed) and the per pupil cost.
