On or before July 1, 2012, the Department of Education shall create a list of turnaround plan referees to be used by local or regional boards of education for schools selected to participate in the commissioner's network of schools and the exclusive bargaining unit for certified employees chosen pursuant to section 10-153b in implementing the provisions of section 10-153s. The list shall contain the name of five persons mutually agreed upon by the Commissioner of Education and representatives of the exclusive bargaining units for certified employees, chosen pursuant to section 10-153b and such persons shall have expertise in education policy and school operations and administration.(P.A. 12-116, S. 21.)History: P.A. 12-116 effective May 14, 2012.
