No claim for damages shall be made against a town, local or regional board of education or school employee, as defined in section 10-222d, for any injury or damage resulting from the provision of food or dietary supplements by a parent or guardian, or a person designated by such parent or guardian, on school grounds to a student with glycogen storage disease under an individualized health care and glycogen storage disease action plan, pursuant to section 10-212c.(P.A. 12-198, S. 7; P.A. 13-31, S. 16.)*Note: On and after July 1, 2025, this section, as amended by section 59 of public act 23-167, is to read as follows:'Sec. 10-212e. Immunity from actions relating to the provision of food or dietary supplements on school grounds by a parent, guardian or designee to a student with glycogen storage disease.
