The board on the part of the state shall obtain accurate accounts of all the board's receipts and disbursements and shall report to the Governor and the legislature of the state biennially on or before the tenth day of December in each even-numbered year setting forth in detail the transactions of the board for the two years preceding December first of that year, and shall make recommendations for any legislative action deemed by it to be necessary or desirable to carry out the intent and purposes of the New England Higher Education Compact among the states joining therein.(June, 1955, S. 1953d.)History: Sec. 10-320 transferred to Sec. 10a-64 in 1983 pursuant to reorganization of higher education system.
