When a vehicle owner registers as a shared vehicle owner with a peer-to-peer car sharing company but before the shared vehicle is made available on the car sharing platform, the peer-to-peer car sharing company shall notify the shared vehicle owner that, if the shared vehicle has a lien against it, the use of the shared vehicle through a car sharing platform, including use without physical damage coverage, may violate the terms of the contract with the lienholder.(P.A. 21-106, S. 54.)History: P.A. 21-106 effective January 1, 2022.
